PRP/GFC

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and GFC (growth factor concentrate) have emerged as two popular tissue repair and regeneration options in medicine. They are recommended mainly for hair growth, but have been also used effectively in skin regeneration.

How it works:

The process utilises our own body’s natural healing properties, hence no scope for allergic reactions. PRP/ GFC facial ( aka Vampire facelift) is a safe, revolutionary and effective way of achieving skin rejuvenation and regeneration. While PRP contains growth factors along with cytokines, adhesive proteins, chemokine factors, etc, GFC has a higher concentration of growth factors and show more consistent results, according to scientific research.

Procedure:

  1. Blood sample is taken under sterile conditions and centrifuged to separate required components.

  2. For hair growth, injections into the scalp are done with mild patient discomfort (Please note that GFC injections are less painful).

  3. Procedure lasts 15-20minutes.

  4. Hair washing is not recommended on that day after the procedure.

  5. For skin treatments, the solution is introduced into the skin via one or more of the following: injections, laser ablation, or microneedling.

Important Points:

  1. Treatments are recommended monthly for the first 3 months, then maintained every 3-9 months, depending on the patient’s needs and requirements.

  2. Downtime: Hair: burning sensation for few minutes-hours after the procedure. | Skin: redness 1-3 days, or crusting for about one week if laser is used.
